Life in the Light has a technical base as well as a spiritual one. It is my view that the soul must be uncovered. In the process of humanization that occurs after birth, it is buried deep below our level of consciousness.

Through the understanding of some of the emotional, mental and physical limitations imposed on us by the biological and sociological animal we become, we can begin to uncover the divinity that is, within all of us, our true nature.

Not everyone who reads this little volume will profit from it the first time. Refer to it now and then. In any journey, knowledge is acquired in transit that was meaningless previously.

It is with discipline that frustration is defeated; it is with grace that death itself dies. The "Kingdom of Heaven" exists within each of us, awaiting our immortal repose. 

The D'Evil (of evil) is hardwired into our psyche via our ego. The ego is the source of all sin and most, if not all, crime. Therefore, my brothers and sisters, it follows naturally that the ego (DEGO®), acting for its own purpose is serving evil, and therefore, we, each of us, is a tiny part of the anti-Christ. Yep, we don't have to wonder when the anti-Christ will come and who it will be. All we have to do is look in the mirror to see the beast. The DEGO® is here to stay. The eternal battle between good and evil rages on within.

Absurdiatic bytes: Faith, as defined by Jesus in the New Testament, is a verb. It is defined as a noun in our dictionaries. I don't know where the translations went awry.

How many Aramaic accounts of faith being able to move mountains are around today?  I don't know, but I would guess very few, if any. Somewhere between the Aramaic and the Greek and the Latin and the German and the English something went wrong.

Faith has to be a verb and a transitive one at that. I'm sure of it. We can not move mountains with a noun.  I mean dynamite (n) can move mountains, but that is because one dynamites (v) the mountain.  Faith has to be an active force to do that.  It is a real power.  Real in this world right now.  Do not doubt that is here.  Do not doubt that you can access it.  Remember, as an old TV evangelist used to say, the power does not come from you; it only flows through you.  Moses forgot, and it cost him the Promised Land.  You can look it up.

At a base level, all we can really control in our lives is what we think about.  If we have our eyes on the prize and someone enters our world and diverts our attention from it, then we have ceased to be our own cause.  We have become their effect.  A Jewish carpenter mentioned this sometime back in what has become one of history’s most misunderstood quotes. 

“Turn the other cheek” does not mean let people bat you around like a cheap baseball.  It means don’t let someone take away from you the only thing you really own: your train of thought.

Do you seek God, my friend? Forget it. You will never find Him. Just open your heart, and she will come to you.

Why do you fear the unknown? From where else can the new come?

Crisis management lesson: if change equates opportunity and crisis is the greatest change, then crisis must present the greatest opportunity.
